She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley Fain and Sarah Gilley Fain; her husband Raymond J. Farmer; and her siblings, Curtis Denzil Fain, Gracie F. Jefferson and Levanna Dale Fain.
She is survived by: her children, Ginger F. Neal (Stephen) of Greensboro and John Farmer of Eden; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Neal of Greensboro and Evan Neal of Greensboro.
