She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Blankenship and Helen Cobler Blankenship; and her brothers, Roosevelt Blankenship, William Blankenship, John D. Blankenship, Charles Blankenship, Clifford Blankenship and Stuart Blankenship.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Branscome of Sylva, Kenneth Branscome of Clayton and Keith Branscome of Horseheads; her grandchildren, Amanda Patel, Rachel Fitzgerald, Mikaila Anderson, Kaleb Branscome, Elizabeth Branscome, Kenzi Branscome and Klarissa Branscome; and her brother Raymond Blankenship. She is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Hillcrest Baptist Church (18075 A L Philpott Hwy, Ridgeway, VA 24148).
