She is survived by: her husband Albert Charlie "A. C."; her grandchildren, Tori Marie Austin, Stephanie Marie Austin and Abigail Christine Austin; her great grandchildren, Effie Lula Marie Austin and Gunnar Allen Austin; her sister Patricia Overby of Ruffin; and her close friend Shannon Meeks Gleason. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
