He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Swanson Cox and Margaret Good Cox; and his brother Kent Cox. He is survived by: his wife Bernice Ramsey Gibbs Cox; his daughters, Missy and Kelly; his siblings, Brenda Hagood and William "Bill" Cox; and his grandchildren, Zachary and Londyn.
