We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2010, Marjorie Esabelle Kirkman Owens (Ridgeway, Virginia), born in Rockingham, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Salmon Grady and Myrtle Overby Kirkman; her children, Jean Lemons and Steve Owens; and her stepsons, Sonny and Lawrence Owens.
She is survived by: her children, Fannie Aliff (Jerry) of Bassett, VA, Marie Yost (Ken) of Eden, Phyllis Gibson (Dan) of Eden, Donnie Owens (Barbara) of Eden and George Owens (Tracy) of Springfield, IL; and her sister Lorene Farmer of Eden. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
