It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Elgin Donovant Perdue of Ridgeway, Virginia, born in Bassett, Virginia, who passed away on June 14, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Russell Elgin and Elizabeth Poe Elgin; her former husband John David Donovant; her husband James Cameron Perdue; her son Michael Dean Donovant; and her sister Linda Gayle Helms.
She is survived by: her pet Little; her daughter Deborah Powell (Duke); her grandchildren, Tahiti Sewell (Scott), Christopher Donovant (Jessica) and Zachary Donovant (Jennifer); her great grandchildren, Caleb Anderson, Brianna Donovant, Kaitlyn Donovant, Ashley Donovant, Liam Donovant, Rian Donovant and Aiden Donovant; and her sister Janice Elgin Jones.
