He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas and Gladys Woodall Young; his son Stephen Thomas; and his brothers, Tom and Andrew Young.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Ann Young; his daughters, Stephanie Howerton (Steve) of Eden, Denise Baker (Keith) of Phoenix, AZ and Penny Hill (Randy) of Eden; his siblings, James Young (Betty) of Eden and Iris Scillian of Pembroke, KY; and his grandchildren, Grace Howerton, Josh, Dustin, Austin Hill and Conner Isaly.
