He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Dillon Hubbard and Madison Vernon Hubbard, Sr.; and his wife Shirley Adkins Hubbard. He is survived by: his close friend Helen Puckett; his children, Sharon H Buckman (Andrew) of Boones Mill, VA and William Guy Hubbard (Sheila) of Ridgeway, VA; his siblings, Gale Hubbard of San Diego, CA, Clayton Guy Hubbard of Woolwine, VA and James Hubbard; and his grandchildren, Haley Hubbard, Jodi Light, Tink Cooper and William "Jack" Buckman. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
