She was predeceased by: her parents, John Burgess and Gertrude Walters Burgess. She is survived by: her husband William Lawrence Lemons; her son William "Bill" L. Lemons II; her grandson William Lawrence Lemons III; her siblings, John L. Burgess, Anne Burgess, Biggs of Eden, Laura B. Henderson of Newport News and James H. Burgess (Florence) of Greenville, SC; her daughter Patricia Clemmonts; and her close friend Shelby Axsom. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
