She was predeceased by: her parents, James Earnest Lassiter and Gladys Bridgers Lassiter; her former husband Bill Pruitt; and her sister Clarice Vinson. She is survived by: her sons, Charles "Chuck" Pruitt of Eden and Kevin Pruitt of New York City; her sister Margaret Aston (Mike) of Conway; and her brothers-in-law, Merrill Vinson of Conway, Laverne Pruitt (Dorothy) of Reidsville and Leonard Pruitt of Reidsville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
