He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patty" Bellamy Tinsley; his daughters, Tennille Nelson, Torrie Tinsley and Larisa Tinsley; his siblings, Shirley Tinsley, Cleophus Tinsley (Jerline), Roy H. Tinsley and Hubert Tinsley; and his grandchildren, Aaron Nelson, Aniyah Nelson, Armani Nelson, Nadia Perez-Ramos, Aaliyah Perez-Ramos, Ashanti Perez-Ramos, Princeton Perez-Ramos, Andrea Whitehead and Danajah Whitehead. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.
