It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lacy Brooks Chaney (Ridgeway, Virginia), born in Reidsville, North Carolina, who passed away on December 15, 2010, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, R. L. Chaney and Nora Lane Moorefield Chaney; and his daughter Constance Chaney Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Roberta Coon Chaney; his daughter Cathy Bokoski of Eden; his granddaughter Stephanie Bokoski Pike of Eden; his great grandchildren, Thomas and Kadalyn Pike; and his sister Mildred Soyars of Reidsville.
