It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kay Holland Higgins of Ridgeway, Virginia, born in Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on March 16, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father John Spencer Holland; her husband Charles "Gene" Higgins; and her siblings, Ranie Vartenisian, Alva Holland and Russell Holland.
She is survived by: her children, Della Higgins King and Spencer Higgins; her sisters-in-law, Dana Higgins and Nancy Bates; her brother Clyde Holland; her brothers-in-law, Ronnie Higgins and David Bates; her grandsons, Edward King, Charles King, Ethan Higgins and Evan Higgins; and her friend Marsha Neely-Wright. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
