She was predeceased by: her parents, James Curtis Land and Dorothy Dalton Land; and her husband J. T. Gatewood. She is survived by: her children, Duward Gatewood (Donna), Rodney Gatewood (Melissa) and Connie Koontz (Bill) of Eden; and her sister Anna Gilley (Lanney) of Eden. She is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
