He was predeceased by: his brothers, Clyde Evans and Clarence Evans; and his niece Tonia Evans Mora. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jones Evans of Stoneville; his children, Dawn Hilburn (Robert) and John Jackson Evans (Lisa) of Stoneville; his grandchildren, Michael Jack Evans (Kayla), Brandon Chad Evans (Lindsey), Jacey Evans Carter (Chris) and Matt Carter (Kailey); his great grandchildren, Brantley Evans, Paisley Carter, Jackson David Evans, Lilly Hutchens, Annabella Carter and Collin Carter; and his siblings, Geneva Priddy, Nancy Coleman, Frank J. Evans (Gail) of Stoneville and Charles Evans (Jody) of Eden. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
