She is survived by: her husband Michael Alverson; her daughter Caitlin Rierson (Chris) of Ridgeway, VA; her grandson Eli; her brother Jeffery Jones of Eden; her stepdaughter Laura Southard of Stokesdale; and her aunt Betty Gremmons of Collinsville, VA. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
