He is survived by: his daughters, Beth O'Leary of Raleigh and Leah Abbott (James) of Alpharetta, GA; his grandchildren, John O'Leary, Katherine Abbott and Elizabeth Abbott; his siblings, Nancy Hankins, Joyce White of Eden and Wallace Washburn of Eden; and his niece Melanie Hankins of Eden.
