He is survived by: his wife Janice Fargis; his children, Amy Allen (Jerry) of Eden, Jerry Fargis (Donna Kingston) of Stoneville, Victoria Bateman (Joseph) of Morganton and Thelma Fargis of Eden; and his sister Georgia Akers of Locke, NY. He is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
