He is survived by: his son Steven Barnes of High Point; his fiancée Abby Bowman of High Point; his stepsons, Brian Bowman (Debbie) and Michael Bowman (Ginger); his grandchildren, Griffin, Leah, Kayla and Sabrina; his sisters-in-law, Donna Monroe (Michael) of Newport News, VA and Deborah Corriher of Hampton, VA; and his close friends, Maye Reinert, Labrador Retrievers, Harley, Mousse, Jack Russell Terrier and Peanut.
