It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Price Garrett (Ridgeway, Virginia), who passed away on October 2, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Garrett and Mary Kathryn Garrett; his daughters, Mary Beth Garrett Slaughter (Lee), Lorri Garrett Crotts (Travis) and Jaime Price Garrett; his grandchildren, Logan Willis, Ryke Willis, Carter Crotts, Claire Irving and Wyatt Irving; and his siblings, Cynthia Garrett Zurflueh, Anne Garrett Duckson (Ralph) and Len Garrett (Gail).
In lieu of flowers and to honor Jimmy's love of Christmas and children, the family suggests sponsoring a child through the Salvation Army this Christmas or mailing a donation to Rockingham County Salvation Army P.O. Box 686 Reidsville, NC 27323.
