He was predeceased by: his parents, James Otis and Gertrude Joyce Purdy. He is survived by: his wife Hazel Mabe Purdy; his sons, Brian and Tim Purdy; his stepsons, Justin Barnes and Benjamin Miles; and his siblings, Judy Stanley and Steve Purdy. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
