He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Heffinger and Sally King Heffinger. He is survived by: his children, Diane Mauser (George) of Gettysburg, Denise Heffinger Stewart of Greensboro, N. C. and James "Jim" G. Heffenger, Jr. (Beverly) of Havre; his grandchildren, Katie Stewart, Colin, Jenna and Alyssa Heffinger; and his wife Betty Jean Cochran Heffinger.
