He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Baker and Cassie Baker (Craig); his wife Lucille K. Baker; and his brothers, Everette Ferris and Ray Ferris.
He is survived by: his sister Eunice Smith (John III) of Eden, NC; his grandchildren, Keisha Baker Snodderly, Tom of Buford, GA, Brittany Baker, Shelley Baker, Patrick Winn of Bangkok, Thailand and John Winn of Kernersville, NC.; his great grandchildren, Sophie, Noah Snodderly and Ella Finley; and also Cindy Miller Baker of Wilmington, NC.
