He was predeceased by: his parents, Bunyon Rorrer and Louvenia Rakes Rorrer; and his siblings, Norman Rorrer and Kitty B. Hampton. He is survived by: his wife Sandra DeHart Rorrer; his children, Herbert Dillard Rorrer, Jr. of Ridgeway, William D. Rorrer of Ridgeway and Faith Marie Rorrer of Vesta, VA; and his brother Robert L. Rorrer (Carol) of Eden.
