He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonzie Carter and Viola Zigler Carter. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Rhodes Carter; and his siblings, Edith Hodges, Agnes Franklin, Linda Younger (Donnie) and Wayne Carter (Judy). He is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bassett Funeral Service (3665 Fairystone Park Hwy, Bassett, VA 24055). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at the Spencer Family Cemetery.
