We are sad to announce that on September 1, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Harlowe Bowling of Ridgeway, Virginia, born in Stuart, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Kyle Bowling and Vivian Turner Bowling; and his brother Gordon Kyle Bowling. He is survived by: his son Tim Bowling (Diana) of Ridgeway, Virginia; his grandchildren, Matt Bowling (Lauren) and Grace Bowling; his great grandchild Easton Matthew Bowling; and his sister Freeda Shelton (Odell) of Ridgeway, Virginia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sycamore Baptist Church, C/o Nancy Midkiff, Treasurer, 171 Sycamore Church Lane, Stuart, VA 24171.

“I was very blessed to meet Mr Harlowe a number of years ago in Carlisle Pa at a car show...I had no idea who he was at the time, he needed help putting a car on a trailer, as the car did not have a motor...After, he left I ask some of the quys who he was and they told me that was MR HARLOWE BOWLING. Owner of Bowling Logging and very well to do...I said if he was to wealthy he should buy cars with motors .. True story, from there we had a friendship that went for over 20 years.. See you Mr. H”
