He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Puckett and Irene Boyd Puckett; and his siblings, Freda Mae Hunt, Roscoe Puckett and Douglas Puckett.
He is survived by: his wife Deanna Vass Puckett; his children, Kim Shirley (Mike) and Chris Puckett (Melissa); his siblings, Hazel Farris and Martin Puckett (Thelma); and his grandson Kailin Farmer.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Service Chapel (1425 Greensboro Rd, Martinsville, VA 24112). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
