She is survived by: her brother Charles Edsel Crowell; her daughters, Janice Gunter Shepherd and Vanessa Loraine Gunter; her grandchildren, Jennifer Shepherd Harris and Michael Brian Shepherd; her great grandchildren, Abbi Shepherd, Anna Shepherd, Audrey Shepherd and Nolan Harris; her husband Lorenzo Lafayette Gunter; and her siblings, Bessie Mae Maples, Olita Elliander Snipes, Johnny Netherland Crowell, Leonard Monroe Crowell and William Crowell.
