He was predeceased by: his parents, Mae Francis Petty and William David Brown. He is survived by: his children, Cathy Kay Kincaid and George David Brown, Jr.; his brother Andy Petty; his grandchildren, Mason Brown, Morgan Denny, Bella Brown and Quinn Brown; and his great grandchild Maui Denny.
