He is survived by: his wife Jewell South Griffin; his children, Gay Lynn Griffin, George Griffin and Charles Griffin; his stepson Marvin Hancock; his sister Daisy Louise Lance; and his grandchildren, Codie Wayne Griffin, Dewey Lee Hancock and Lisa Marie Hancock Glover. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
