It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fannie Billings Alyff (Ridgeway, Virginia), born in Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on July 2, 2011, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Spencer Owens and Marjorie Kirkman Owens; and her children, Lawrence Billings and Pamela Billings. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Madison Alyff; her stepsons, Kevin Alyff of Eden, NC and Paul Madison Alyff of Atlanta; and her siblings, Donnie Owens of Eden, NC, George Owens of Illinois, Marie Yost and Phyllis Gibson of Eden, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
