It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Chilton Corns (Ridgeway, Virginia), born in Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on December 3, 2011, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cullin Bryant Chilton and Louvie Belton Chilton. She is survived by: her children, Linda Corns of Virginia Beach, VA, James Bryant Axsom of Haines, Michael Ray Axsom of Greensboro and Roger Dale Axsom of Stoneville. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
