She was predeceased by: her parents, David Lawson Culpepper and Lelia Padgett Culpepper. She is survived by: her husband Dorsey O. Compton; and her daughters, Janice Austin (Bobby) and Marion Brown (Kendall). She is also survived by three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
