She is survived by: her children, Marie Alexander of Concord, NC, Mary Catherine Barnett of Gaithersburg, MD, Patricia Jane Howes (William) of Bowie, MD, Jeannette Louise Watson (Ted) of Fair Grove, MO and Joseph S. Owen, Jr. (Elaine) of Queen Anne, MD.; her husband Joseph Santford Owen, Sr.; her son Robert Edward Owen; and her grandson James Whit Alexander. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren.
