He was predeceased by: his stepson Robert Woods. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Grogan Brown; his son Nathan Brown; his stepdaughter Bobbie Woods of Greensboro, NC; and his grandchildren, Shawn Scott, Marc Richmon, Jr. and Marteka Richmon. He is also survived by six brothers.
