He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Ray Martin, Sr. and Maxine Whittle Strawn Martin; and his sister Donna R. Fitzgerald. He is survived by: his children, Christy T. Grant of Albemarle, NC, Chanell J. Hairston of Long Beach, CA, Sherrea N. Grant of Martinsville, VA, Lealan T. Hairston of Las Vegas, NV and Karay A. Dickerson of Atlanta, GA; and his sisters, Cheryl M. Hairston of Ridgeway, VA, Carla N. Murphy of Martinsville, VA, Cherry D. Martin and Dominique L. Martin of Martinsville, VA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Viewing was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hairston Funeral Home (301 Fayette St, Martinsville, VA 24112). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the C. R. V. Memorial Chapel at Hairston Funeral Home (301 Fayette St, Martinsville, VA 24112).
