He is survived by: his wife Gardie Guffey Coats; his daughters, Marie Ballance (Archie) and Glennette Haga (Jerry); his grandsons, Christopher Hodges, Jonathan Haga and Andrew Haga; his great grandchildren, Nicholas Hodges, Somer Hodges and Katherine Haga; and his brother Sam Coats.
