With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cornelius Martin (Ridgeway, Virginia), born in Stoneville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 26, 2020 at the age of 94. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Martin and Viola Price Martin; his siblings, W. C., Dillon, Glasco Martin and Mozelle Martin Hill; and his great great grandchild Dreyson Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Charity Edwards Martin; and his sons, Larry C. Martin (Pam) of Richmond, Dennis R. Martin of Martinsville, Bobby D. Martin (Annie) of Martinsville, Randy O. Martin (Daisy) of Martinsville, Terry E. Martin of Stuart and Derrick D. Martin of Martinsville. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
