She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Cambridge Akers and Elizabeth Carrie Fields Akers; her husband James Henry Shelton, Jr.; her son Bryon Lamar Shelton; and her brothers, Cambridge Ellis Akers, Charles Keller Akers and Bryant Ellis Akers.
She is survived by: her daughter Shannon St. Clair; her son-in-law John St. Clair; her grandchildren, John Jr. of Pembroke Pines, Florida and Londen St. Clair of Pembroke Pines, Florida; and her brother Dennis Akers. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the CDC guidelines for COVID19, all funeral services will be private.
