He was predeceased by: his parents, Colie Watkins and Bessie Martin Watkins; and his brothers, Thomas and Odell Watkins. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Jackson Watkins; his children, Rita Hall (Troy) of Wentworth, David Watkins (Karen) of Stoneville, Charles Hughes (Jill) of Stoneville, Jimmy Hughes (Denise) of Ridgeway, VA and Major Dale Castle (Janice) of Eden; and his sister Virginia Watkins of Stoneville. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
