He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Clayton and Thelma Hill Pulliam. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Allen Pulliam; his children, Paul Pulliam, Tracey Ellis of Eden, Jennifer Pulliam of Eden and Ashley Pulliam of Eden; and his grandchildren, Brandon, Breanna Ellis, Skyler Corum and Lexie Boothe.
