She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Aleck Weadon and Iris Elizabeth Jones Weadon; her husband David William "Red" Grubb; and her siblings, Inez Light, Myrtle Earles, Margaret Taylor, Polly Adams, June Rawlings, Robert "Pete" Weadon, Claude "Buck" Weadon, Clarence Weadon and Paul "Curly" Weadon.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Irving (Leon) of Madison and David William Grubb, Jr. (Dorothy) of Monroe; her grandchildren, Paul William Grubb of Monroe, Luke Thomas Grubb of Monroe, Iris Lane Irving (Jordan Myers) of Raleigh and J. L. Irving, Jr. of Seattle, WA; and her nieces, Joan Strutton (Steve) of Eden and Barbara Hall (Jerry) of Wallace, SC..
