With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carnell Elizabeth Janney Shough (Ridgeway, Virginia), who passed away on June 26, 2011. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Moir Janney and Vila Gilbert Janney; her husband Richard Bishop Shough; and her siblings, Lea Letz, Ellen Smith, Phillip Janney, Grover Janney and Horace Janney.
She is survived by: her sons, Aaron B. Shough (Mary Elizabeth) of Clemmons, NC and J. Stuart Shough (June) of Newberry, SC; her grandchildren, Steven B. Shough (Debbie) of Clemmons, Mary Katherine Branson (Jim) of Greensboro and Wendy Jacobs (Roi) of Columbia, SC; her brothers, Irvin Janney (Sherrill) of Clarksville, FL and James Janney (Mary Ellen) of Palmetto, FL; and her brother-in-law Dewey Shough (Helen) of Patrick Springs, VA. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
