He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bishop and Mittie Stanley Dalton; and his brothers, Glenn, Ray, Marvin, Murry, Alvin and Vernon Dalton.
He is survived by: his children, Vicki Hayes of Stoneville, Brenda Dalton of Graham and Michael Dalton (Tammy) of Bassett, VA; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Ryan Davis, Haley and Michaela Dalton; his siblings, Paul Dalton of Ridgeway, VA and Sadie D. Clark of Ridgeway, VA; and also Shirley Dalton Pierman of Stoneville.
