She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcus L. Wright and Eliza Duckett Wright; her husband H. D. Hensley; and her siblings, Garvin Wright and Mary W. Guffey.

She is survived by: her children, Jerry Hensley (Andrea) of Florida and Elwanda Ensley (Mike) of Eden.
