She was predeceased by: her parents, Millard Smart and Ada Vipperman Smart; and her brothers, Kerman and Bernard Smart. She is survived by: her sons, Charles Lillard (Trudy) of Eden and Herman Lillard (JoAnn) of Martinsville, VA. She is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
