He was predeceased by: his parents, L. A. "Lon" Puckett, Sr. and Delia Puckett. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Fulcher Puckett; his children, Susan Puckett Hall (Charlie) of Fort Mill, SC and Richard Puckett of Oak Island; his siblings, L. A. Puckett, Jr., Polly P. Blankenbaker of Stoneville, Virginia P. Richardson and Ruth P. McCollum of Reidsville; his grandchildren, Lindsey and Allyson Hall; and his brother Richard.
