With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Albert Vernon Dalton (Ridgeway, Virginia), born in Laurel Fork, Virginia, who passed away on October 8, 2012 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bishop and Mittie Stanley Dalton; and his brothers, Marvin, Ray, Glenn, Murray and Alvin Dalton.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Martin Dalton; his daughters, Rita D. Simpson (Harless) of Ridgeway and Charlene D. Solomon (Johnny) of Ridgeway; his grandchildren, Denny Solomon of Ridgeway, Kevin Solomon of Ridgeway, Ashley Simpson of Havelock, NC and Amber Adkins of Ridgeway; and his siblings, Sadie D. Clark of Ridgeway, Carlie Dalton and Paul Dalton of Ridgeway. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
