He was predeceased by: his parents, John Higgs and Martha Dickens Higgs. He is survived by: his daughter Monica; his close friend Herbie Williams; his children, William II (Colleen), Wendell, Leslie (Terry) and Anissa (Jason); his grandchildren, Jordan, Joshua, Justin, Julian, Alisa, Zari and Zen; his nieces, Tina, Maxine, Doris, Elaine, Ruby, Suzie, Barbara and Stacy; and also, Leslie and Anissa.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery (5525 US-1, Mims, FL 32754). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
