She was predeceased by: her parents, Irving Jackson Walker and Bernice Hensley Walker; her husband William Granville Colvin; her grandson Matthew Wayne Colvin; her son-in-law Danny Jamison; her siblings, Barbara Ann Walker, Irva Southard, Harold Walker and Louie Walker; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Somerville, Charles Southard, Wilford Graves and Shirley Walker.
She is survived by: her children, Granville Wayne Colvin (Barbara), Linda Colvin Lohr (Harrison) and Brenda Colvin Jamison; her grandchildren, Karen Lillard (T. M.), Kimberly Peterson (DuWayne), Andrew Lohr and Emily VanFossen (Miller); her sister Vera Somerville (Ellen Graves); and her sister-in-law Ruth Walker-Bond. She is also survived by numerous great, grandchildren and great, great, grandchildren; two sisters.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Found and Sons Funeral Chapels & Cremation Service (850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Found and Sons Funeral Chapel (850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701). A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at the Culpeper National Cemetery (501 E Chandler St, Culpeper, VA 22701).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan's Purse, P. O. Box 3000, Boone, NC, 28607, for the hurricane victims.
